In this class, students will learn the essential subjects necessary to master when approaching Herbal First Aid: basic protocol, energetics, assessing tissue states, choosing herbs, application of herbal medicine, and aftercare. Margot will also walk students through a demonstrative case study so that they can see the assessment and care techniques being applied in real time, and students will get to interact with some of the herbs and medicines that will be discussed. This class will come with some basic handouts to get students started in preparing for their own Herbal First Aid encounters, including first aid materia media, medicine making for first aid guide, and tissue assessment quick guide.
