Learn how to drill, inoculate, and wax seal logs for future harvesting! In this workshop you will select a log, fill it with shiitake mycelium, and take it home where it will provide years of mushrooms! There will be step by step instructions, a discussion on how to care for your log, and a demonstration on how to inoculate your log with mycelium.
Shiitake are long prized for their delicious flavor and anti-cancer, anti-tumor properties. Due to their adoptogenic quality, these mushrooms strengthen the whole body! They reduce stress and inflammation while boosting the immune system!
