KUDOS!

The Boston School of Herbal Studies recognizes the importance of community and of supporting those in need. To help those in underserved communities, we have created a collaboration with Mountain Rose Herbs and the Food Rescue Collaborative.

With the support of our generous collaborators, the Boston School provides healing herbal teas. These tea blends are created by our students under our supervision to target common ailments. They are then delivered to low income housing, transitional housing, and the homeless within the greater Boston area and throughout the state, reaching as far as western Massachusetts.

Through the generous donations of Mountain Rose Herbs, we are able to create hundreds of tea servings that help with sleep issues, digestive disorders, stress, and more.

Our collaboration with the Food Rescue Collaborative has made it possible to distribute these teas to those who may not have health insurance or access to other options of relief.

It is with deep gratitude that we thank both Mountain Rose Herbs for their years of donations and the Food Rescue Collaborative for making our teas accessible. It is only through collaboration that we can ensure the most vulnerable have their basic needs met.

Donations

If you would like to participate in making herbalism available for everyone, please consider donating to our scholarship fund! If you would like to help our underserved communities thrive, consider making an offering to our tea donation program. When you contribute to these programs, we will provide you with a receipt which you can then use to claim on your taxes.

If you would like to help the Boston School of Herbal Studies reach more people, we appreciate your support in spreading the word about the school. Helping people find high quality, in-person education helps to build community and it creates empowerment.

We are also always looking for volunteers to help with the work required to run and manage the school. If you have a talent that you would like to share (IT, marketing, farm work, etc.), we look forward to having a conversation with you about our barter program. We can create a relationship where we all benefit!

We hope you’ll consider participating in the expansion of herbalism and the building of community.
