Herbs for your Best Complexion

Instructor - Rachel Warnok
Fee (materials included) - $70
Location - TBA

Ready to take your skin care routine to the next level and make new herbal friends?!
Join us for this 4-hour workshop learning about the best herbs for your skin and face.
Learn which herbs are best for acne, which ones boost collagen production, and which
ones brighten skin tone and help with age spots.
Spoiler alert: licorice, echinacea, and sarsaparilla, are as good on your face as they are in your body!

We’ll dive deep into different herbal carrier oils – sampling each of them along the way- including which
ones contain vitamins E and C, and which one was used by Egyptian queens to
preserve their youthful visage. You’ll mix your own face serum and learn how to make a silky face cream, all while deepening your knowledge of herbs from both Eastern and Western materia medica.

Recommended for beauty and cosmetic enthusiasts, those who enjoy working with
herbal oils, and want to learn more extensive uses for infused oils. It’s strongly recommended that students also take the Ayurvedic oils workshop in addition to this one, as the learning is enhanced when the two are taken together.

Making Tea for Donation workshop

During this opportunity attendees spent time with other herbalists learning about the properties of each herb, how these herbs work together, and what makes a successful tea. All the while knowing that they were helping those who may not have access to these beneficial herbs. No prior experience was necessary, just a desire to learn more about tea formulation and to give back in a way only herbalists can!

Tea formulating was under the guidance of herbalist Tommy Priester and focused on common challenges such as insomnia, stress, and pain.
